(Well geared) bishops are able to farm for long durations of time without stopping, unlike high wizards who have to stop and mp heal. They also have a higher chance of survival than most other classes due to their skills, such as Faith, which increases maxhp, and resurrection.

Becoming a bishop:
mage>cleric>app bishop> bishop
♥Level 10: app mage: Varuna in Fort Bailune
♣Level 50: app cleric: Maya the Fortune Teller (Rokoko)
♠Level 70: cleric: _____in Sofys Cathedral (Sofya)
♥Level 120: app bishop ouo (Almost there!) Cleil, President's Office (Saterica)
♦Level 140: Bishop (congrats!!^-^ You did it!): King Elbano (Elban)

Common builds for a bishop:
A build, is the main stats you will focus and add onto.
First, a nemesis build bishop (me n.n)
Int is maxed, or even past max (I'll talk about that later (Stat Release))
Mdef
Matk
A decent speed for nemesis
matk
The rest of the stats can be put into vit, for survival, or:
Def/ magic def

Then, here is one of the builds for a tank bishop
int/vit/dex
int is, of course, maxed to provide mp, mdef, and matk
The rest of the stats can go into dex, for quick casting speed so you don't die while casting, and more matk
As a bishop, always, always add int. Doesn't matter if you want to be 'tank' bishop. Int gives us matk, maxmp, and higher heals. What's not to love?
__________________________________________________________
The last build I will mention, is the matk build. This build is for users who want high matk, with the use of some equipment, of course.
int/dex/agi
Int, is maxed, providing matk, mdef, and high mp.
Dex, is also maxed, because it increases not only matk, but casting speed.
Agi, can increase matk with the help of magic amp, a special equipment that will give you 1 matk per 4 agi(?)
These are just common builds, and you are not limited to them.

Leveling your bishop:
I seriously recommend doing mq till at least 180. Really.
But really, leveling a bishop is difficult as fudge unless you have someone willing to help you out (Which I didn't)
After 180 (Where I recommend leveling)
-Mega (I hate mega, honestly, but I had to put this because this is one of the main lvling spots)
Mega, by draf are easy to kill with a decent party
The only fault is that sometimes they dont spawn e.e
-Nommars
those new scary trees by Sateria owo

Equipment:
Equipment and xtals are very important, they increase your matk and survivability, and having good equipment and xtals, and knowing how to use them, can make you a great bishop.

For rods, I'd recommend a dinat rod, which can be obtained from Imseti. The stats are:
MATK up by VIT. MATK +11%, MP Cost -11%, Range Cut +11%
Ambition, from Sianas II is also a commonly used rod, however, I don't recommend you use it, because the hp rec will override bless.
Ambition, matk+14%, skilldelay-1s, hp regen chance by defense
I'm too lazy to write it all out now, so I'll just list the rest^-^;
Phoenix Staff II
Matk+9% Dex+9 Mdef+9% Heal rec+5% mp rec when exhausted
Empress Rod
2nd upgrade of princely rod, from Fallen Angel Grecia (more easily obtained from raid version)
light attribute, int+5 matk+8% (hidden: extended range(physical))
Resty Rod (an awesome rod in my opinion. The autoskill triggers by defense and will increase your matk by about 50%. However, it is a slow rod)
matk+10%, skill delay +.5s, hate growth -20%, and matk increase while defending.
Created by the bs in fort bailune
Matk +9%, mp consumption -10%, physical resistance +5%, heal recovery +3%, item delay -.5s (hidden correction, attack range + __)
Heal Staff (only for healing)
From carpentry, lvl 95
Solve Rod+
Upgraded (fort bailune) version of Solve rod, from bossheit
